Wheat...West coast cash wheat markets came under pressure from a retreat
across the futures complex on Tuesday, with white wheat slipping a nickel
below the recent highs. Bid structures remain flat for all three classes of
wheat. A late week atmospheric river moved across the Pacific Northwest,
bringing near-record rainfall and building some needed mountain snowpack.
Shipments...Weekly export inspections showed row crop movement was the
focus for U.S. exporters, as total wheat shipments slipped to 12.6 million
bushels for the week. Year-to-date loadings of 715 million bushels stands
19% ahead of a year ago. Hard red winter was the top mover with 4.9 million
bushels, followed by hard red spring with 4.6 million and white wheat with
1.7 million bushels. West coast exporters shipped 4 million bushels of wheat
that went mostly to The Philippines, along with 15.5 million bushels of corn
and nearly 10 million bushels of soybeans.
