Compared to last report: Trade activity and demand was moderate to good.
Retail hay demand was good.
Dairy hay demand was steady.
Export hay demand was light.
According to the US Drought Monitor, the most intense levels of drought
(D3 and D4) now cover a broad area from southeastern California, southern
Nevada, and southwestern Utah through much of Arizona, southern
and western New Mexico, and the Texas Big Bend into south-central parts
of the state.
The next available hay report will be May 02, 2025.
